Leatherman Rev Multi-tool
The Leatherman REV Multi-tool is a great starter multi-tool, perfect to personalize with engraving for yourself or to create a memorable gift for someone.
Leatherman understands not everyone wants to spend $100+ on a full size multi too so they built the Rev to be an entry level tool, with everything you need in your car, tackle box or the kitchen drawer. It features 14 different tools / functions, the Rev will meet all your basic requirements, starting with the well-made pliers and wire cutters, and the single straightedge knife blade is is the only outside access tool on the REV™. The REV™ has three screwdrivers, one Phillips and two flat-bladed drivers; the small driver is located at the tip of the file. The package opener is designed for opening clamshell packaging, and the tool is rounded out with a bottle opener, can opener and wire stripper.

Leatherman rev multi-tool rust and corrosion prevention
Corrosion can occur in the absence of proper maintenance therefore proper care is important.
Your Leatherman product should be cleaned, dried and re-oiled periodically to inhibit rust and corrosion thereby prolonging it’s life.
This is especially true if you use it in a damp or marine environment.
After cleaning, re-oil pivoting areas with a light machine or penetrating type oil.
Buff stained surfaces with a polishing cloth or non-metallic abrasive (e.g., Scotchbrite pad or soft bristle brush). Do not use WD-40 as this will corrode washers on our tools.
